Robbie has all means to protect himself, a guardian is said to be a direct descendant of Keesa (Lady god : D) although there is no "Solid" proof. They are given superior strength and able to create solid walls and weapons from energy. They are also gifted with a Sonar that allows them to sense nearby beings with a heart and soul.
It's also tradition that the guardian protects the eastern royal family, they are not really sure how it started, but hey. Tradition. Many people think of Robbie and Reginald as brothers the way they act around one another.
He's 52 (HA. OLDER FART IS OLDER)
The pin he wears is a royal Family heirloom, it's passed down to each new guardian that takes the role of protecting the family.
His grew up kind of afraid of what others thought of him, he always thought he was too strong for his own good and that he'd hurt others. He was sort of distant to other kids.-- When he met Reginald (an Anti-skill) He learned that if he could be around one of the weakest kinds of people he could be around anybody. He still grew up kind of shy, but he acted cool about it.
As of now he is posted to be a Reginald's side at all times. Them being friends they enjoy each others company, Robert can be seen silently standing beside Reginald most of the time. He is only relieved of duty when the King either returns to the safety of the palace or turns in for the night.
He carries an inhaler around, he doesn't need it. At least not anymore. When fighting Drago his lungs received severe damage, he was in the hospital where they believed he'd be forever bed ridden. Somehow against all medical known facts they healed, the scars had disappeared. He was given the inhaler in case of a flare up but after sometime he didn't need it. He carries it around as a memento, to remind himself not to get Too Reckless. He sometimes states that even if he hadn't been placed by reg's side by tradition, he'd have done the job anyway. Because if it hadn't been for Reginald's learned healing spells, Robbie probably would've never made it to the hospital.
I dunno, he has this weird thing where he just won't wear close toed shoes, it's sandals or no dice :I Whiney lil' piss baby.
